Living
under stress not only harms your psychological life but also the physical life.
If you are under stress, if something is bothering you then automatically it
will be in your head. You will continuously think of it. You will lack the
presence of mind. Suppose, you are walking on a road and thinking about
something your mind will stop working and you can head towards any direction
which may lead to road accidents and many other major accidents.
If

headache. Stress is a common trigger of tension-type headaches and migraines
and can trigger other types of headaches or make them worse. Stress can affect
mental health, social health, and academic achievement.
Here are some tips which can reduce
your headaches:
Cold pack: If your head is aching then place a cold pack
on your head. Keep it on your head for few minutes then take a break and
continue doing the same. Cold therapy has been cited as the most common
self-administered pain relief measure used by those who are having a headache.
It eases the pain.
Use a heating pad: If you are having a headache due to some
tension then place your heating pad on your neck or back of your head. Try to
hold a warm cloth to the place it is hurting. A warm shower can also release
the pain and try not to overthink.
Drink water: Try to stay hydrated as much as you can.
Drinking water has been shown to relieve headache symptoms in most hydrated
individuals within 30 minutes to 3 hours. Inadequate drinking patterns can
cause headaches. Drink enough water throughout the day to avoid the headache.
Get adequate sleep: People who are sleep deprived are more likely
to have a headache. Getting excessive sleep or less sleep will lead to a
headache. Seven to nine hours of sleep is good for health.
Drink coffee: Coffee may provide you relief when you are
suffering from a headache. It boosts up your mood, increases alertness,
consciousness and makes you feel fresh. People who get frequent headaches
should drink coffee as it is very useful.
Yoga: It is said that practicing yoga can release
stress, tension and increases flexibility. It lightens up your body and leaves
a shining glow on your face. Yoga helps in reducing the intensity and frequency
of your headaches.
Get some exercise: It is the best way of reducing headaches. The
more you exercise, the more you will feel fresh. You can release all of your
tensions and will make you feel better. Instead of overthinking try to exercise
and release all your pain by doing exercise. Moreover, it makes you fit also.
